Trish and me off on safari Our next stop was Saritska, they provided us with bicycles and we biked the last 20 KM to the Hunting Lodge, built by the British on the edge of a tiger reserve, tiger skins on the floor, huge antlers mounted on the walls and a stuffed tiger in a glass case on display in the lounge. We actually went on safari, 4 to a jeep. We were told there were only about 35 tigers left in the reserve and although we saw a lot of animals we never came across any tigers. To think that during British reign in the 20's and 30's a tiger hunt could net 60 odd tigers is a sickening thought. We left Saritska for the long and dusty drive to Agra and the Taj Mahal. En route we stopped at Midway for lunch where I was mobbed by a group of village children.
