Our Objective
The objective of the Club is to bring together persons who are widowed, divorced or single through a variety
of activities e.g.house parties, BBQ's, excursions and any community project the club may wish to support.
Our History
Our Club started in the seventies in Perth Western Australia
The club is non-profit making and any revenue collected is spent on its members in the
form of subsidised functions.
Over the years we have written thousands of names in the register, some remained members
for a short time only, others are still members after 30 years.
A quarterly magazine will be mailed to financial members
Annual Club subscription is $15
SATURDAY EVENING PARTIES
On Saturdays, we have regular social house parties. Ladies
are asked to bring a supper plate to share with the gents, or donate $10.00 in lieu and gents bring drinks to share with the
ladies (beer/wine) or donate $10.00 in lieu. Members entry donation is $5.00, visitors $8.00 The host provides cask of wine,
soda water, lemonade, coke and orange juice. The parties start at 8 pm until late.
A decent dress standard is required.
SUNDAY ACTIVITIES
BBQs and Games are often held on Sundays. Please BYO food, drinks
and cutlery. The host{ess} provides the facilities for you to BBQ your food, also coffee and tea. It sometimes helps to bring
a folding chair, just in case. Members and guests are asked to donate $5.00 which is given to the hostess.
